Format:
All references should be double spaced, have a hanging indent and be listed in alphabetical order. The elements to include are as follows:
Author Last Name, First Initial. Second Initial. (Year). Book title: Subtitle. Publisher.
Editor Last Name, First Initial. Second Initial. (Ed.). (Year). Book title: Subtitle. Publisher.

If one author:
Porter, G. T. (2019). Water does not flow up a mountain: It only flows downhill. Random House Books.
If one editor:

In-Text Citation
Using in-text citation is necessary to help avoid instances of plagiarism.
Paraphrase:
An entry that appears in the body of your paper that includes the last name of the author/editor and the year of publication when you express information or ideas taken from a source using your own words.

Quotation:
An entry that appears in the body of your paper after a direct quote that includes the last name of the author/editor, the year of publication and page number(s).
