Works Cited:
An entry that appears at the end of your paper that starts on its own separate page.
Format:
All works cited should be double spaced, have a hanging indent and be listed in alphabetical order. When using more than one book with the same author, list the books in alphabetical order. For the first book list the author's name and then use a series of three hyphens for all subsequent works. The elements to include are as follows:
If one author:
Author's Last Name, First Name. Book Title: Subtitle. Publisher, Publication Date.

If two authors:
First Author's Last Name, First Name, and Second Author's Full Name. Book Title: Subtitle. Publisher Publication Date.

If three or more authors:
First Author's Last Name, First Name, et al. Book Title: Subtitle. Publisher, Publication Date.

If an organization/corporation is the author:

In-Text Citation:
Using in-text citation is necessary to help avoid instances of plagiarism. It is an entry that appears in the body of your paper that includes the last name of the author(s), a shortened version of the title and page number when you express information or ideas taken from a source through a quote or by using your own words.

If one author:

(Porter, Water Does Not 10).
Porter stated in Don't Try that "Insert quoted text here" (10).
Porter stated in Water Does Not that "Insert quoted text here" (10).
Porter stated that "Insert quoted text here" (Don't Try 10).
