An entry that appears at the end of your paper that starts on its own separate page.
Format:
All works cited should be double spaced, have a hanging indent and be listed in alphabetical order. The elements to include are as follows:
First Author's Last Name, First Name et al. "Title of Article." Title of Newspaper, Day Month Year, Pages*.
Examples:
If one author:
Cronkite, Walter et al. "Yesterday's News is Today's History." USA Daily, 15 March 2016, p. L7.
*Please note that you should use the number format that is used by the source.
In-Text Citation
Using in-text citation is necessary to help avoid instances of plagiarism. It is an entry that appears in the body of your paper that includes the last name of the author and page number when you express information or ideas taken from a source through a quote or by using your own words.
Examples:
If one author:
(Cronkite et al. L7).
Cronkite et al. stated that "Insert quoted text here" (L7).
