Format:

All references should be double spaced, have a hanging indent and be listed in alphabetical order.  The elements to include are as follows:

Author Last Name, First Initial. Second Initial. (Year). Article title: Subtitle. Online Journal Title, Volume(Issue). DOI or Retrieved from full URL including http(s)

Without DOI

Paraphrase:

An entry that appears in the body of your paper that includes the last name of the author and the year of publication when you express information or ideas taken from a source using your own words.  

Examples:

If one author

Harrison (2019) states

(Harrison, 2019).


Quotation:

An entry that appears in the body of your paper after a direct quote that includes the last name of the author, the year of publication and page or paragraph number(s).

Examples:

If one author with page numbers

(Harrison, 2019, p. 12).

(Harrison, 2019, pp. 12-13).

If one author without page numbers (paragraph numbers)

(Harrison, 2019, para. 12).

(Harrison, 2019, para. 12-13).
