The Rembert E. Stokes Library and Information Commons* is located on the second and third floors of the Stokes Building. It houses a book collection of more than 70,000 volumes and has various periodicals, pamphlets, and other undergraduate library resources. Electronic resources including e-books, journals and periodicals are available both on and off campus via the internet.

Wilberforce University Stokes Library and Information Commons engages students through bibliographic instruction both on an individual consultation basis as well as class/group sessions by appointment. Individual computer stations, along with Wi-Fi connection for laptop computers, as well as study tables, allow for a professional student atmosphere.
The University Archives, located on the lower floor of the library (second floor for the Stokes Building), serves to preserve and make accessible the contributions and significance of Wilberforce University to its community, the State of Ohio, the United States and the world. It is a closed research collection of institutional memories highlighting the contributions of Wilberforceans and the environs.
